HumanTutor is a free directory of verified Massachusetts teachers available for one-on-one tutoring. Every tutor on this site is an active, credentialed educator, verified by school email address before their profile goes live.
Every tutor on HumanTutor is a verified, active Massachusetts teacher. Not a freelancer. Not a gig worker. A classroom professional.
Families browse by town and subject, then submit a session request. The first session meets at a public library. HumanTutor collects a one-time referral fee equal to the tutor's hourly rate. Every session after that is arranged and paid directly between the family and the tutor.
HumanTutor was started in 2026 by Luke White, an 11-year Massachusetts math teacher. He built it to make it easier for families to find qualified tutors and for teachers to connect with students who need what they already know how to do.
