Luis is an 8-year high school math teacher who guides students to discover mathematical concepts through questioning, problem-solving, and real-world applications rather than simply demonstrating procedures. He teaches Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II with a student-centered approach, tailoring each session to the student's learning style and building the conceptual understanding and confidence needed to tackle unfamiliar problems independently.

Luis offers Algebra, Geometry, and MCAS tutoring to families in Holyoke, and Belchertown, Massachusetts. Sessions are arranged directly with families, with first meetings typically held at a public library in the family's town.
